Catching Up...or at least trying to...

A new post is way overdue! BUSY is all I can say for my excuse....and that I gave birth to our second baby girl, Nora! A lot of picture taking has happened since my last photo shoot and I have more photo shoots coming up! So lets start with the babies...

Babies are everywhere right now! I counted the other day 20 friends/family that have either already had their baby...recently, or are due soon (all within one year..most have been within the last few months!) I can't get enough of the sweet little newborns (especially my own). They are just precious little bundles of love.

Meet sweet baby Jake...born just a couple days after my little Nora. He's baby boy number 3 for my sweet-as-can-be-southern-mama friend, Mary Ann. The photos were taken on her bed using her bed quilt from Anthropology...I fell in love with it, and these pictures.

Next are the long-awaited-for twins; Maci and Dane. Alyssa and Ryan are the proud parents and some of our good friends. They went through a lot to get these two little munchkins here!

After the babies I was off to a wedding..my first, as the picture taker.
I love pictures with personality and that tell a story or capture a moment so I was so excited to do a wedding that would provide a lot of moments worth capturing.
The beautiful little bride is from Spain...and I love this picture because I told the girls to laugh {I was trying to help create a "moment" :)} but I'm not sure if Claudia, the bride, exactly understood my instruction here...but it makes for an adorable photo.

The pictures were taken on the grounds of the LDS Washington, DC temple.

I'll be posting more work and updating some things on this blog soon, so check back again!

The F. Family Sneak Peek

Such a beautiful family! We were busy rolling three photo shoots into one session, but I had a lot of fun, learned a lot (as I do with every new photo shoot) and laughed a ton at how bad Craig (the dad) hated taking pictures!

This is the real thing that I am positive we can all relate to and makes me laugh: The kids, grouchy and screaming...just wanting to get down and run; The Dad, oblivious; and The Mom, trying to pull the whole family together for a picture with a smile on her face!

These next pictures, no doubt, put a smile on my face.
