Love You Sis

This is my big sister, Rose. The only one I have and I love her, look up to her still, and am so happy she's found herself again. She is a strong woman and despite what she's been through and going through as a single mom she's coming out on top.
When I was visiting CA we took a few profile pictures for fun.

Never Forget Their Face

My husband was gone for just about the entire month of July on a work related class/training so I took my two little girls "home" to Southern California. My big sis was there visiting the same time with her kids. It was a blast and I miss the fam so much already! I did a mini photo shoot with each of my nieces and nephews and then I added some random ones of my girls from the trip as well.
Gosh, I am SOOO grateful for cameras...otherwise we would forget our children's faces.

Yes, this shirt is perfect for him.

He LOVES cars.

Captain America.

These are just a few I snapped of my girls on the beach one evening.

Just thought I would throw these next two in...one of myself with my girls that my dad took...
and this one is from the fourth of July. A priceless moment.

More High School Seniors

It's back to school again and how lucky these seniors are that it is their last year of High School...the end is bitter-sweet! But it only gets better, right? Definitely.
Meet Jimmy. I took his Senior pictures a little while back. When I pulled up next to his car in the parking lot of the photo shoot location he was face down on his car's steering wheel...sleeping. Yep, he was that excited about the photo shoot. It's kind of funny how boys and girls are different even when it comes to taking their picture. Girls could stick around all day with me and take pictures, the guys are usually more than ready to be done before we even start! But really, once we get going I can tell they kind of like getting their picture taken. :)

 putting out the vibe.

Happy senior year Jimmy!

These next photos are from a senior photo session back in May. Ken has since graduated and is off to culinary school!

I had to do a little climbing during this session...the views were awesome, but I wanted to throw up... I get pretty nervous when it comes to heights. Growing up I couldn't even climb up our attic ladder, which was only like 6 steps. It's only after several minutes of pausing, a little shaking, feeling weak, heavy breathing, nausea and clenching to anything sturdy I can get my hands on that I (sometimes) will finally overpower my fear of heights and make it to the top! It's probably pretty hilarious watch.
